General Assembly of Associates UIAC



Just as it is defined in the Organic Status, the Universidad Iberoamericana of Mexico City is a private research and higher education entity, created and governed by the Universidad Iberoamericana, Civil Association (UIAC). The General Assembly of Associates UIAC has, among many others, attributes such as to ensure the viability and long-term good of the IBERO of Mexico City, to determine the general direction of the university, and more.

University Senate



The Rector is the highest authority of the IBERO, who in turn chairs the University Senate, composed of the following members:

  • The Rector of the IBERO of Mexico City, who will participate ex officio and vote.
  • Four members of the academic community at the IBERO of Mexico City, two of whom shall be directors of the department or institute, and two shall not be directors of any university entity.
  • Three Jesuits working in the IBERO of Mexico City.
  • Three distinguished members of the academic-professional environment, preferably an ex-alumnus.
  • A student.
